Thanksgiving is over..Christmas is coming…Now What? So now you are probably thinking ah well to heck with it you’ll start your “Diet” on New Year’s. Not so! This is what a lot of us do when we think we’ve gotten “off track” and “splurged” on Thanksgiving. Like to here it? Here it go! This is you rationalizing in your head why you’re not going to restart until after New Years: I already messed up on Thanksgiving, I had leftovers on the day after thanksgiving (which you shouldn’t have taken a plate home in the first place) so then you say you are gonna start on the perverbial “Monday” and then that doesn’t happen because then you get busy, you “forgot” you started your diet again and you say I’ll start Tuesday and you forget again and then it’s Friday and you’re starting again the following Monday. Theeeen, it’s toward the end of the month and you “rationalize” again why you should start in December and the same routine/cycle happens again which now brings you to the decision that you are going to start after New Years.
I said allllll that to say, Stop the crap!!!!!! If you’re not going to begin right after thanksgiving, you are probably not going to begin after New Year’s either! You have to make up in your mind that you have a mission and your mission is to get the FAT off! There is one thing in life that you don’t get back and that number one thing is TIME. Stop wasting time and get your butt in gear. We’ve wasted soooo much time in our lives putting off our weight loss goals. Don’t let more continued time pass by because you want to eat and not take care of your business! Don’t continue using the same old tired excuses as to the reason why you can’t begin your weight loss efforts.
With that said, don’t let Christmas come and you mess up again. There are more important things in the world than food. If you really want to reach your weight loss goals and achieve being healthy you won’t continue to Sabotage yourself into habits that aren’t going to help you. There is sooooo much weight and I mean soooo much weight to be lost between now and January 1st at least 10 – 15lbs. Don’t wait or continue to weigh yourself down, Let’s jump start 2013 now!
