Fall/Winter FaTshion, FABULOUSLY

Fall is here and Winter is upon us so you know what happens next, your wardrobe is changing too; however just because you’re cold doesn’t mean you can’t be cute.  The Fall Winter 2014/15 line up has done some interesting things.  Capes are back, pink is no longer for summer and you can wear plaid with anything.

I caught up with Aja Johnson of Say “Eye” Make Up Artistry and Part Time Fashionista and asked her thoughts on this seasons trends…

FFFFBlog: We have lots of Patterns this season, what are you thoughts?

AJ:  The trends are on point, they’re classy, expressive, bold and stylish.

FFFFBlog: How do you feel about the industry’s picks as Trends for 2014/2015 Plus fall/winter fashion?

AJ:   I’m loving it!!! I’m loving the fact that the plus industries are stepping out of the “boundaries” the general fashion industry has put around us. Give us bold colors and prints, drape us in over-sized knits and silks cinched with belts…
FFFFBlog:  Some may call the trends bold choices for a big girl.  What would you say to that?
AJ:  All opinions on fashion are different so I can respect that. However we do have to be creative and put our own spin on things. It’s giving us the opportunity to step out of what we’re used too. It’s up to who’s wearing it to make it different, to make it their own.
I took 4 Fall/Winter Trends for the upcoming season and created a few looks of my own: Check out the photoshoot below:
