I was backstage tonight at the Legendary Symphony Hall with Fullfigured and Fabulous Vocalist – Shirley Daley of Anthony Brown and Group Therapy in Newark, NJ at the Gospel at the Roots Concert honoring the newly elected The Honorable Mayor Ras Baraka.
Being the Fabulous Diva that she is, I took the opportunity to catch up with her about her thought’s on this season’s Fall Fashion and Make Up Trends.
Shirley is emphatic about Boots! Ankle Boots, Knee High and Thigh High. As a fullfigured woman it adds style and definition to our legs makes an outfit pop.

In Make Up – Shirley is a fan of the Matte Lip this season. The 2011 Face of M.A.C. Cosmetics MACMeOver campaign loves the deep color trend and highlights Lorde’s – Pure Heroine Lip Color.
In fall 2011, Shirley Daley was chosen as a face of M.A.C. Cosmetics and modeled in their MACMeOver campaign. She was one of the six winners chosen from various cultural backgrounds. Her presence earned admirers in the Beauty, Plus Size and African-American communities. Shirley is balancing the rising success of Anthony Brown & Group TherAPy with being a devoted navy wife and graduate student. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Full Sail University majoring in Music Business. Shirley is continuing her education with Full Sail in their Public Relations Master’s Degree program.
