Hey there #HealthyFriends It’s November! A lot happens in November! The Time Changes, It gets a little colder, and Fatty Food Season get’s turned up! So when it get’s darker, we get lazier and don’t want to work out, when it get’s colder we get lazy and don’t want to work out, and when Thanksgiving and the Christmas parties hit, we declare ok ok We’ll start our weight loss efforts over on January 1st. I say not so! Let’s make this thee best November ever in your Weight Loss History!!! You can get up, You can withstand the cold and You have will power! So let’s do this in November! Let’s tell some of our fat see ya later! I believe in you #HealthyFriends Don’t let November be a blank! Be on the Look out for help along the way! Here are a few tips to get you started:
Prepare your work out – Whether you go to a gym or you work out at home, prepare or anticipate your workout. If you work out at home…have your workout clothes on the night stand or near you when you wake up. To further remind you, tape a large note to your television to remind yourself to work out! Trust me, It helps! If you go to the gym always keep your gym bag in the car or on your doorknob to the entrance of your home! It’s an instant reminder!!! Help Yo Self boo!!!
Workout without getting sick – One of my issues is not wearing a coat. I don’t like wearing a bulky coat because it’s hard to drive. However if I don’t wear something in the cold, I’m at risk for getting sick. If you’re like me their are other things you can do to keep from getting sick. Wear a Hat, a thick Scarf and a hoodie to cover up! After your work out your pores are open and you are vulnerable to getting sick. Cover up and you can keep going!
- Holiday Switch Up – Ok ok, I get it, it’s the Holiday’s but the collard greens don’t have to be cooked until dead, The Mac and Cheese doesn’t have to be drizzling in cheese and the Cake doesn’t have to be full fat. Try switching it up this year. Saute’ the Collard greens in onions and mix it with Cabbage. My uncle calls it Collabage, It’s healthier and you still have all of your nutrients and vitamins in your veggies! Use Wheat or Veggie Pasta for the Mac and cheese instead of white pasta. Try the low fat baby bell cheese instead of the Sharp and Extra Sharp that you are used to.
