2018 was a year for Mo’Nique that showed the world that whether her message is hated or liked she will stand in her truth despite the consequences and still come out on top! Right now big sis Mo’Nique is on top of the world for so many reasons.  She’s alive, she’s healthy and she’s working and that is what makes her the Real MVP.

Mo’Nique takes life one day at a time as she often shares in her encouraging Instagram videos.  Since her 2018 request to boycott Netflix and comments against TV Titans Oprah an Tyler Perry she remains relevant and has garnered a coveted Residency in Las Vegas at the Slayers Club! The entertainment business is an uncertain place to make a career so we are thanking God that Mo’ is out here WORKING! More importantly, since she began her wellness journey Mo’nique has been encouraging others, myself included to get healthy.  With that she announced again that she had made it to Onderland.  Onderland is to have the scale read under 200lbs.  Non Scale Victories are nice but to be able to see the scale say 199 for the 1st time in your adult life is truly a cause to celebrate!  Mo’Nique is what resiliency looks like and is to me the real MVP, PeriodT!
