Let this Spaghetti alternative rock your wellness Journey! What’s for dinner tonight? SPAGHETTI SQUASH! There are a lot of pasta style spaghetti alternatives out there including spiralizing your veggies and shirataki noodles. But nothing comes close to the real thing for me like Spaghetti Squash. You can add your herbs and spices just like the pasta form of spaghetti and forget that you don’t have the real thing.
Spaghetti squash is inexpensive, and can hold up in the refrigerator and last a while for when you want to meal prep for the week. You literally just split it in half, pull out the seeds, cover both pieces with salt and pepper and olive oil. Place cut side down on a baking sheet, put in the oven at 400 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes. Pull out the insides with a fork at your meat, cheese sauce and enjoy.
